SECOND ATTEMPT - 2,831 push-ups in one hour
These photos were taken November 14, 1997, at the Rideau Centre, Ottawa where Roy completed 2,831 push-ups in one hour. It wouldn't be until 1998 that Roy beat the Guinness world record in his third official attempt at the Central Canada Exhibition in Canada's Capital. Later, in 2001, he unofficially topped the world record for 100 push-ups with feet at a 80 cm [2 ft 7 1/2 in] high table. In 2004, he would set another Guinness record, this time for the most push-ups in one minute.
